"Enthusiasm, education and an eye for excellence are the benefits writers reap when they work with Erin Reel as an editor. She offers the ultimate combination of industry experience and compassion for the writer’s need to complete a well-written, well-presented manuscript that will set them successfully on their path to get published. As a literary life coach, Erin provides insights into the range of emotions a writer may experience as they practice and hone their writing craft. She also has the talent to support writers with the essential elements and cornerstones of a strong and saleable manuscript. I have a high regard for her work and I enjoy recommending her to my clients for her editing prowess." ~ Jennifer S. Wilkov, book business consultant, radio show host & best-selling author, Your Book Is Your Hook!

“Those who genuinely seek to improve their game---or their gift---wisely enlist the tutelage of an experienced, well-connected coach. The Hoosiers had Hackman, Comaneci had Karolyi, and thankfully, I had The Lit Coach. Without the skilled intervention and enthusiastic support of Erin Reel, Twinspiration would simply be a "what if?" pipe dream rather than a published text in bookstores and on nightstands nationwide. Erin's insight, verve, and commitment are unparalleled and unrelenting. If you want to see your idea for a book go from concept to concrete, I implore you, put on your uniform, start your stretches, and hire The Lit Coach!” Cheryl Lage, author of Twinspiration: Real-Life Advice from Pregnancy Through the First Year

"After nearly 2 years and 180 hard-fought pages, my novel hit a stand-still. Through a series of very fortunate events, I found The Lit Coach. From our first session (in which she encouraged me to forget what I've already written and instead write the story I want to tell), I have felt energized and supported on my writing journey. Going back to the basics of the craft of writing a novel -- plot outline, character sketches, deep probing into the hows and whys of my characters' actions -- has liberated me to begin again in earnest. Erin is full of insight, compassion and encouragement for the writer's process. All this, and she's funny, too!" Erin S., YA author in progress

"After a life time of talking about writing a book, I finally enlisted the services of Erin Reel, The Lit Coach, to give me focus and direction. The results were immediate. Don't be fooled by her beautiful blue eyes. Erin has steely sharp intuition for writers, and she has shown me the exact path to move forward on. I value the fact that she is always several steps ahead of me with a game plan. Even if I don't know where I'm going in the game, The Lit Coach is working on a strategy! Doors I never imagined have opened. My blog readership has skyrocketed, and I won the CureToday Extraordinary Healer Essay Award 2010 in May. What else can I say? Don't wait half a life time to hire her!" Valerie Bosselman, blogger and author of the book in progress, Put Up Your Umbrella: Surviving the Storm of Cancer

“Erin has had a profound impact on my writing career. With wisdom, humor and élan she has not only guided me through the more intimidating aspects of the industry, but also enriched my creative process. Thanks to her insight and encouragement, I'm acting on my intentions and achieving my goals.” Erin will always have my gratitude and trust. Christine W., Children’s Author and Illustrator
